About the Event
One of the goals of our events is to welcome local leaders, teachers & elders that are black, indigenous, people of color (BIPOC) to bring their wisdom, skills and expertise into our community to help reduce relapse and recidivism.
Nicole has French Creole heritage and a degree in Music Psychology. She sings and plays bass for the local band Rockit Radio, sells her brilliant artwork at several venues from here to the Oregon Coast, and she's the worship leader at the Saturday night Xchange Recovery service at Living Hope. According to Nicole, she came from a highly dysfunctional but creative family from Monhegan Island off the coast of Maine. Her first piece of art was displayed in the New York Children’s Gallery when she was just 2 years old, and her musical journey started at age 7 with the piano.
